Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Makes A Difference...

The mission of Farm Safety 4 Just Kids is to promote a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to children and youth.

Their objectives are to increase public awareness and understanding of the hazards to children on the farm, provide individuals, families, and communities with educational opportunities and resources to make the farm a safe and healthy environment and motivate and empower individuals, farm families and communities to make positive changes regarding farm safety and health issues.

Rain and Hail proudly supports Farm Safety 4 Just Kids

Here at Rain and Hail, we recognize the importance of making children aware of the many dangers on the farm and educating them on how to be safe. Nothing raised on a farm is more valuable than our children. An average of two children per week are killed each year on the farm, and thousands more sustain lifelong injuries. Farm Safety 4 Just Kids gives communities educational tools to prevent these accidents, and Rain and Hail lends its support to the programs and materials they use.

The Farm Safety 4 Just Kids Chapter system works as a network for conducting farm safety programs in communities throughout the United States and Canada. Chapters have community ownership and responsibility for conducting local children’s farm safety activities using resources and assistance from Farm Safety 4 Just Kids. Anyone who shows an interest in the safety of children on the farm can initiate or join a chapter in their community.
