Sugar Beet Crusting, Freeze & Wind

This endorsement provides coverage to sugar beets against crusting, freeze or wind. The policy liability is limited by stage and the growing season is broken into five stages: Stage 1 = 33%, Stage 2 = 66%, Stage 3 = 100%, Stage 4 = 66% and Stage 5 = 33%. Coverage is provided for the actual costs of replanting the sugar beets as well as direct damage to the original sugar beet crop. The direct damage accounts for the reduction in quantity and quality of the replanted sugar beets.
